December 10, 2011

Lori and I ran some errands at noon...places like Target, Sam’s Club, Trader Joe’s, and Starbucks.  A Saturday two weeks before Christmas was not a good time to go.  The stores were crowded and the streets were clogged with traffic.  Ugh!  We had a good time, though, in spite of the hordes of people.

Bill and I went to Walmart (which was also crowded) to pick up some prescriptions.  Of course, he had to stock up on Dr. Thunder.  That’s always on the Walmart list.

With those important purchases out of the way, we went caching.  We were successful on the first one, but not on the second attempt.  After that we located one at a bus stop shelter, but decided to leave it for tomorrow’s find, in case it is raining.  Tomorrow is a “must cache” day.

We had dinner at Lori’s and spent part of the evening reminiscing about the funny things that have happened to us.  Believe me, there are enough stories to go on all night...but, alas, Bill’s pillow called him!
