December 19, 2011

December 19, 2011

Today was kind of a lazy day for us.  The sky was very cloudy early this morning, but by noon was a beautiful blue and the temperature rose...not much, but enough to be comfortable.

We did two geocaches not far from the Elks Lodge.  One will go onto our list of most clever containers so far.  The name of the cache was “Vroom, vroom, ring, ring.”  It was hidden at a motorcycle repair shop (vroom, vroom) in a fake doorbell button (ring, ring).  The button was a nano, which was placed in the doorbell casing.  It was so real looking that I almost passed it by, but then thought, “Why does a business like this need a doorbell?”  And there it was!

We walked past a business that claimed to be able to exterminate pests.  I drug the old guy in, but was told that their expertise didn’t reach that far out!  You can’t blame a girl for trying, can you?

We went to Burger King for lunch.  And, no, it wasn’t our anniversary!  The 52nd one is still nearly four months away.  We were just practicing celebrating.
