May 23, 2014--Michelle’s in Loveland, Colorado

Meredith, Dwaine, and the pups came this morning to take me to garage sales, among other places.

Our first stop was at Hobby Lobby.  Dwaine needed a special kind of glue and this craft store has a wide variety in stock.  After he found a kind for plastic, we went to the bead department where I got a stone for a necklace.

It has been quite awhile since I have worked on a beading project.  I don’t even have that on my list.  As soon as things are marked off my current list, beading will go at the top of the next list.

We went to several garage sales, but none of them were great.  It is, however, always fun to go to any of them.  There weren’t too many today, maybe because of the weather we have been having this past week, or because it is a holiday weekend.  So many people are traveling for Memorial Day.

After eating lunch at our favorite drive-in, we went back to Michelle’s house.  She, along with Bill and Joshua, were doing yard work.  Meredith stayed to help.  There are lots of weeds to be pulled and planting to be done.

Soon after dinner another storm hit the Loveland area.  We had heavy rain, with flash flood warnings.  The lightening and thunder that accompanied it made for a very loud light show.  The storm had moved on east by 10:30.
