May 5, 2014--Muscatine, Iowa

We went caching at 9:00 this morning.  We stayed on the Iowa side of the Mississippi River.  The four that we found were all out in the country.

The first one was at a grist mill built in 1850.  It has been beautifully restored and preserved and is now included in a State Park.  We were there at the same time as a 4th grade field trip.  We tried to stay out of their way.

Next, we went to an old stone church.  The container was very clever and we had never seen one quite like it before.  It was also an interesting place for a cache.  We probably wouldn’t have seen it if it wasn’t the site of a cache.

Well, we started our tick count today.  No, it wasn’t on me and it wasn’t Bill.  It was walking across the screen of his computer.  That’s a new one, isn’t it?
